About conference:
“Follow the footsteps of the famous Te Araroa race which means the long path in Maori. I went through the two islands of New-Zealand, from Cape Reinga at the north to Bluff, the southernmost point of the island. For a first trip by bike independently, I started with a big challenge: 4500 kms were waiting for me through the incredible landscapes of this country. For from being easy, this adventure will remind me a very important moment of my personal and bike traveler life.”
About me : François Guimard
” Passionate about the bicycle since I was a kid, I first started with practicing it in competition. I didn’t want to be professional sportsman, so I decided to work in the event area. I worked 10 times on the famous Tour de France publicity fleet. Today I want to create my own event with the Vélocité Festival. Since my trip to New-Zealand, I made a trip in Gaspesia in 2020, and I crossed France from West to East following the Loire river in 2021 in order to go to the trail running event : Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB).”
